About The Artwork

Satish Gujral was born on 25 December 1925 in Jhelum (now Pakistan), British India. He studied clay craft and graphic design, among other subjects, at the Mayo School of Art in Lahore for five years. After this he moved to Bombay in 1944 where he joined the famous Sir JJ School of Art, but due to illness he had to leave his studies in the middle of 1947. His health was very good as a child. At the age of eight, he broke his legs due to foot slipping and due to severe head injury, he started hearing less. As a result, people started thinking of Satish Gujral as lame, deaf and dumb. Satish could not pursue further studies even after wishing. Started drawing to spend free time. His feeling was made immediately after seeing the main picture. Both his letters and sketches were beautiful. Award Satish Gujral is called Leonardo da Vinci of Mexico. One person picture of them made by me through paper in paper
