About The Artwork
Painting is done with oil on fiber canvas. I visited Nice briefly back in February 20219, its colors left a lasting impression on me. Although I'm far away from being the only painter who likes French Riviera light and colors, it remains a very special place - a combination of sea blues, sky blues, the browns and yellows of buildings, the classic black and white combination of squares and the greens. The painting shows the beach guard's post yet I thought its more like souls' post - sea guarding sanity by giving calmness of mind.
