Vitaly Leshukov was born in Ukraine but has been residing in Spain for many years, which is reflected in his landscapes. However, he also successfully works in other artistic styles. The beginning of his artistic journey is quite intriguing: it started with a motorcycle accident followed by 5 days in a coma. After a challenging period of recovery and deep reflection on life, he felt an overwhelming urge to paint. His work symbolizes unwavering perseverance in the face of life's challenges. Vitaly's art is a breathtaking display of vibrant and contrasting color palettes, each evoking a powerful emotional response within the viewer. His preferred technique, impasto, involves the use of thick oil paint to create a mesmerizing interplay of texture and volume that contrasts with light, resulting in a captivating sense of movement and vibration on the canvas.
