Skulls upon Skulls Painting

This piece is a dynamic exploration of different energies. The original idea was to create a stack of different playful skulls, a little like Tetris. I let my imagination have a play around and each skull has a different personality. The painting gives the viewer a feeling similar to looking in a huge fish tank. There is always something new to discover! The painting is made up of several layers, some completely painted over and some still showing through in different areas. This is gives the painting a lot of texture! Created with acrylic paint and spray paint. Painted on a 3mm Gesso Panel, ready to hang, with hardwear installed at the back. It comes with a slim white tray frame.
