a man walks in a warehouse rave, a victim of mental abuse highlighted in the black text, hypersensitive to criticism, constant apologies, feelings of not being enough, in need of constant reassurance. experiencing the feeling of listening to this music in an underground environment has resurrected a need to be a part of a community of dancing and escapism. thinking about agambens state of exception which investigates how the suspension of laws within an emergency crisis can become a prolonged state of being, this state operates to deprive individuals of their citizenship and freedom. trying to create artwork in an environment i’m not used to any more, forgetting what it’s like exist without state initiated constraints on public activity.
