The iconic Wyoming bucking horse and bronc rider. The horse was named " Steamboat" was the model for the image in 1909 at the Cheyanne Frontier days. This a one of a kind piece perspired from a small idea one fall day. The idea seemed to be the easy part. Now it was time to put it into action. Lots of long hours spent in the studio and no good results. I was almost ready quite and think it just won't work but finally I got it. I wanted the piece to feel free and natural and not glued down to the page as if the Tree itself was creating the image and not me.
