This peculiar artwork is a kind of experimental conceptual still life. I tried to combine sorts of objects which doesn't match to each other at the first glance. A point of interest for me were various glittering surfaces and textures in combination with each other, such as a golden tray and silver foil, blue ceramic cup, polished peel of grape, sparkling pulp of lemon. I especially like the reflections and light glares. Also, I used red tulip petals, set them in the cup to imitate an effect of blazing fire through its amazing form and color. The lemon serves a complement color spot for flaming petals. In the center of the composition, I build a savory construction of chocolate, dried apricot and walnut, which completely reflected in the tray with other subjects and create a double picture effect.

From my first step, my future was determined. My father, grandparents, uncle and aunts were artists. So, the paints, canvases, pictures and sculptures were all around me, and I had started to absorb the spirit of painting from my birth and make my first memorable attempts when I was three years old. I went to a school of art the year I turned seven and five years later I enrolled into vocational art school. In 2005, I was pleased to enter the Academy of Arts (St. Petersburg State University of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named by Repin), the faculty of painting with a specialization in restoration. In 2011 I got a master degree as a professional painter and restorer of oil paintings. Currently, I work as a self-employed artist. I have sold my works through the galleries in St.Petersburg and to private collections. You can view my paintings in the online gallery or visit my studio in Stuttgart. The primary inspiration for me is nature, the richness of forms, the vividness of colors and harmony as the whole. I am also keen for the experience of the Old Classic School of painting, which I get by following the best practices of the masterpieces from the Old masters. I trying to make close replicas that are presented in my portfolio. My second specialty is restoring, which is why I pay special attention to the painting technology, using only high-quality materials to save my artworks in excellent condition and intact for a long time. «Beauty will save the world» - said the classic. I believe this and hope to bring some piece of beauty into the world as I perceive it.
