About The Artwork
This was intended to be a study. I like painting fruit because there are so many shapes, sizes, colors, values and textures that I can use in a composition. The tablecloth gave me the opportunity to use the curved folds as movement. I liked the combination of green, red, yellow and a small amount of blue which is in the bowl.
