About The Artwork
This painting was a recuperated ugly painting which I found then used as a base.I started with the buildings and then was reminded of a photo I had taken from a tower block of a young black boy being searched by police. This made me feel angry about the fact he had been racially profiled.I often witness in my area the fact that if you are a person of colour you do not have the same rights as any white person of walking the streets with freedom.
