Tess Gumbin is a visual artist currently living and working in the American Southwest. While Gumbin specializes in contemporary portraiture and figure painting, she also thrives on experimenting with landscape, abstract and genre painting. She explores her craft like a chameleon, mimicking styles ranging from photorealism to impressionism to collage. Always seeking to expand her oeuvre in the hope of creating something completely new. Drawing inspiration from an ever expanding number of sources, her influences coalesce, producing work with it's own distinctive voice.
