About The Artwork

This is a new project "Strongroom №6 - a fine line" after a poem of great Russian author Anton Chekchov. The project was begun after rethinking his poem. In this poem it is shown very clear how the thin edge between normality and madness. What is going on in the strongroom and minds of modern people don't have a big difference. We naive believe in illusion of reality and this literally nake us. Vilnerable, unconscious, scared we that all make us to be naked in front of severe reality. The full absence in a present moment allows our fears control us. Our dreams take us away from the reality and these dreams wouldn't be done as it is also unconscious. People from " Strongroom №6" are exaggerated reality of nowadays. The difference between us and them is so invisible and thin, unlikely someone dare to determine it. In the srtongroom, there is someone who always snooze, the same in life, we are snoozing in our program's actions in which we were programmed many years ago. So we have been performing the same programm many years. Autopilot helps us to get home and not to get under the car. In the strongroom someone rethink the same thought of schizophrenic character in the life we have been rethinkinking the same thoughts year after year just not dare to sound it. In the strongroom jewish man get out every day for panhandling the same in out life we get out every day and go to hateful work to panhandle no to earn the money. in a fact these people were less lucky . No logic, no any moral relationship, just an blank accident. A quote : " But dozens and hundreds mad people are walking outside, because of your ignorance is not able to destinguish them!" Asked a suffering patient from a docter, and docter doesn't argue just saying : Yes, who was enclosed he sits, who was not enclosed he walks around. "So who is madness from us?" This question was asked many times by author. This is a project about strong interweaving, not about the board between normality and madness. The distance is very very invisible and a probability to get there is very high, at least of a reason to look into the small luminous Iphone screen every 15 minutes. And there is no any insurance was invented still.

«Art is the exclusion of unnecessary.» Picasso When I excluded all unnecessary the only human and flesh remained. My primary conception and focus of my art is body and flesh. The only human can depict human - this is our privelege - this is the one, that drives me. "Pehaps,I am the only one artist in Russia who studied anatomy in morgue, such as Leonardo De Vinci, just because I need to know all about human to depict human for human." Svetlana Malakhova. Artist Svetlana Malakhova created a lot of painting and graphic in human theme. Her artwork in collection in Russia,USA,Europe, Japan and Chine. She says about it: My great inspiration are people and the whole humanity in all forms and aspects in any interaction, either in an environment or between themseIves. My concept is -The only human can depict human. This our privilege. My idea to develop it in a best way of depiction of humanity. A member of Union of painters of Russian Federation Live and work in Moscow. I graduated of the Moscow state art industrial Academy behalf of the Stroganov. Studied in SAINT - PETERSBURG STATE ACADEMIC INSTITUTE OF PAINTING, SCULPTURE AND ARCHITECTURE NAMED AFTER I.E.REPIN during 2 years. My teachers were Uriy Kalita and Nikolay Blokhin the best teachers in Academy and famous enough. It gave me a boost in creation and in my painting. Briefly studied painting and drawing in Charles H and Cecil Studios in Florence. In June 2012 studied in New York academy of Art. My style has developed under the influence of 4 different school. The Stroganov Academy of Art gave me an undertanding of construction. Repin Academy of Art gave me knowledge in painting. Florence Art school gave me a lot of knowledge in tones relationship. And New York's Academy of art gave me a understanding of concept and idea in art. I always knew that I will paint and draw human mostly. I can tell myart is a composition about people. Today I am doing more deep researches of human in my artwork, I exploring humanbodies in a morgue, like Leo de Vinci, doing a lot of sketches of anatomized bodies, to understand the theme literally inside. In my art I am telling about people, about ourself as a main component of everything existing. In fact I show people themselfs from different sides and different points of view. Because we are all one unit.
