Another impression from New Zealand and Te Araroa trail. This is the Longwood Forest, near by the south cost of the South Island in Southland ;) This is my interpretation of Pblo's photography ( https://www.instagram.com/pblo28/ ) I painted it with quite thick, heavy paint. I was trying to reflect the mood of this magical place, that appeared in my mind, and I was following my impressions during painting. Oil on linen 40 x 30 cm 2018 Signed on the front ( "Fladrif" ) and on the back [ "Wojciech Pater (Fladrif) 2018" ] Top-quality 100% linen canvas stretched over a solid wooden bars. Based on years of experience, I use only the best quality artist paints - Royal Talens and Maimeri and verified, traditional painting mediums. Sides of the painting are not painted and they are splattered with paint (not much, mostly on the bottom), but the painting is ready to hang also without a frame, if that's preferred.
