About The Artwork
This painting is one of my personal favorites. I created the painting over the time of several months, trusting the process. During the process, I woke up early in the morning, jumped out of bed to continue defining it, and got obsessed with the ever-emerging details of the layers of the paint. I started in India, Pune, and completed it in Dubai, Jumeirah. As I do not have a mental image or a goal when I start painting, I only tune into my inner space and emotions, and to the music, I play in the background and allow the feelings, intuition, and spontaneity to take over. These earthy layers of colors and images turned out to be about life's journey, feeling like an adventure in Africa, exciting and surprising, where you meet lions, elephants, half human-animals, and other imaginary creatures. Unfortunately, the photo does not show much detail; you may need a closer look. Medium: Acrylic and Indian ink on recycled cotton paper in a white box frame. I have sold this painting already.
