About The Artwork
This is a symbolic image of a conception. Conception of an idea, a connection, a child or the future. Anything that needs two to come together and create. Horizontals cross verticals making circles. The full circle fills up a dynamic empty. I painted this wok using black and gold sumi ink and watercolour. The paper is 300g heavy watercolour paper with a slight surface texture. The paints that I used are very stable, non-fading, lightfast pigments. The painting comes unframed and unmatted. It has a 1 cm unpainted area around so when you get it matted the entire painting will still be visible.

Kondor Valeria is a Hungarian visual artist working mainly in watercolour and water-based media. Her images depict a personal mythology, relationships, connections, dependence, independence and most of all a world where eveything has a pair and the entities belong to each other. She creates abstract landscapes where she explores the human-plant parellels. The viewer can walk around the painting, like in a garden or on a map...even if the painting is created with minimalist details. Valeria holds a BFA from drawing and visual communication. She is also a qualified art teacher for age group 3 to 18. Valeria has family ties to India where she lived for over a decade and now she lives and works with her family in Hungary.
