About The Artwork
Technical details: The canvas is stretched on a massive wooden frame about 2 inches deep. The bronze parts are attached in classic gold plating technique with composition bronze leaves. The painting is carried out with acrylic colors. The edges are covered with metal leaves as well. No additional framing will be needed. Notice: Please be aware that the entire Background consists of Aluminum leaves of the same kind. The lighter and more somber parts arise due to lighting and digitalization. Artistic details: The art of diving: High dive as an artistic, joyful and deeply esthetic jump into the deep. Not just mere sports but a passion, a style and a way of life. The design of the swimsuit is inspired by the art of Keith Haring. It underlines the artistry of her jump and gives a refreshing contrast to the realistic interpretation of the diving body. The interchanging figures show in a playful way the joy of diving and the communion between humans and dolphins and deepen the symbolic character of the work.
