This bird flies around in great flocks around the Hague and Amsterdam, and the story goes they escaped from a zoo or cage (they are originally from India and Central America) and settled itself easily in the ‘wild’ of the city. Today they are seen as invasive but I just can’t help and love this magnificent cheeky green/turquoise bird! They are a beautiful invasive bird.
