About The Artwork

A moon jar and a camellia in the moon were drawn to express happiness. In the East, the meaning of the moon symbolizes perfection and abundance. Pottery made after the shape of the moon is called a moon jar and has the same meaning as the moon. A moon jar, symbolizing perfection and abundance, and a camellia, meaning love and devotion, were drawn to depict the heart of forming a harmonious family. The background is gardenia flower, a natural dye, and traditional Oriental pigments such as malachite and 24K gold were used.
