About The Artwork
An imaginary place in a dense jungle or a remote oystershack next to a swamp. Some lonesome fishermen out on a boat for a late catch in the sunrise. This piece is compiled by several cutouts that have been set to different distances from each other within the frame. Some cutouts are also add-ons to the frame (but can be removed if a rectangle shape is preferred). I wanted to try something new and have always been interested in scenography for theatre plays. So this painting is a result of that.
