The Road to Redtop is an oil pastel painting done on red art paper. The red paper encouraged me to exaggerate and dramatize the natural, saturated colors of the mountain that are created from mineral veins throughout the mountain. You can find a stunning view from the summit, as well as beautiful blue agates and jasper.
