The village of Groza is located in the Kharkov region, Kupyansky district of Ukraine. As a result of the shelling of a local store and cafe, where a funeral was being held for a deceased fellow villager. The strike killed 59 civilians, including 6 year old child. The painting is executed in restrained colors.
