About The Artwork
Elephants are my totem animal. Gentle yet powerful. This is an African elephant. I have spent much time in the bush with these wise creatures. The symbols inside the elephant as well as tone on tone in the lime green background are African in origin. They symbolize things such as teamwork, strength, courage, creativity, love etc. The concept then creates a positive atmosphere in the hanging environment.

A recurring theme in her work is a play on words and the use of popular jargon.
