About The Artwork

"Thoughtful thoughtlessness" was born out of the nostalgic state of the woman in most societies in the world. Each new day they experience gender inequality, physical, emotional and mental abuse, In many situations, women are barely even treated as humans! Be it urban areas or rural, women in India and most part of Africa face a daily struggle against misogyny. Despite these adverse circumstances, women continue to survive, thrive and resilient as a mother and professional at any field of study. Oil on canvas has preferably been my medium of expression because of its versatility and malleability.
