About The Artwork

This painting was done during and after a day trip to Kimmeridge Bay in Dorset. This painting is of an old machine gun post that was left behind and is now full of stones. I used the title to describe how time and tide have passed over this remnant from World War Two left forgotten on a pebbly shore.
