I sold my first painting entitled " Tomb" to an elderly woman whose husband was ill and dying. I created this new version based on the original, and added faces around the central tomb who could be the mourners at a funeral of a loved one. It is symmetrical in design. It is framed in silver metal, and the framed size is 18 inches wide by 22 inches high.

Her Bic Pen drawing, Brick Shoes, won the Second Place Award in a National Juried Exhibition. I paint with watercolors for their luminosity and transparency. I draw pure geometry to create order and beauty in what I feel is an unstable world. Freehand drawing is woven into some of my paintings of 2018 to the present, and I have added other media such as gouache paint, collage, sumi-e ink and drawing ink and have moved into more Mixed Media pieces.
