About The Artwork
"Turbulence" - an expressive abstract work by the German painter Rani B. Knobel, painted with acrylic paints and inks. The paint applications range from opaque to translucent, in many areas several translucent layers of paint can be seen. The relief-like structure of this work was created by embedding coffee powder in clear acrylic mass. Warm earth tones - gray and black as well as a broken white determine this picture. This dynamic, powerful work finds the balance between light and darkness, movement and calm. The painting is signed on the front. The canvas is mounted on a sturdy stretcher frame. The edges are painted black. Finally, the surface of the picture was covered with transparent acrylic, creating a soft sheen and protecting the picture against dust. The work can be hung up directly.
