"Ukrainian image" fiberboard, acrylic, sanguine; 38,5x46,5x0,3 cm I love to draw Ukrainian girls in national costumes. I am captured by the bright colors and this crazy swirl of textures and ornaments. It is a special pleasure to depict Ukrainian wreaths since there are about 70 types of various wreaths in Ukraine. For a long time, the Ukrainian wreath was a book of the soul of a young girl, since in the language of flowers she expressed her feelings and talked about the events that happened in her life. This Painting was created on fiberboard in mixed media, where I used aсrylic and sanguine. I can’t determine the exact manner of painting this work, but the decorative style interspersed with folk ornament is empathizing to me. Although I partially used the icon-painting style to paint the face, since I am an icon painter in the past. I would like to say a separate word about the green color that prevails in the picture. With this color, I wanted to emphasize the character of the girl, her will, perseverance, intelligence, and strength of mind
