The subject of the painting is the "opposite" - composition and color
Classically, in the center of the painting, the face of the character is located, but this classical position is broken by both being reversed in direction and the body mass that arriving from the top and also by the oblique tension created by the position of the hands that form a rectangular frame that is at a 45 degree rotation to the painting's frame.
As for the colors, I was interested in using the light tones in a second stage on a darker bedding - so for Ex. the shirt:
Opposite from reality where the fabric is white and the duplicates create darker shades under certain conditions, I produced the "true color" of the shirt by using white on top of the "fabric folds" color that first painted.

Roni Kotler is a figurative artist whose works are a processed and symbolic external expression of her inner and personal discourse, a discourse that undergoes a process of visual representation and presents to the world a new and complete creation, like a wrapped gift. Thus, the aesthetic and visual combine with the conceptual and symbolic, giving life to different thoughts, associations and feelings. Roni puts an emphasis on light and colors, as a rule that allow and invite a dialogue with the viewer and produce a feeling of freshness, intimacy and naivety, this alongside a more hidden layer.
