I am still wondering what we have truly gained through urban development in cities when our hearts always yearn to spend time amidst nature. The inspiration for this painting struck me during my frequent travels in the Kokan region of Maharashtra, India, where I visited various villages. I was constantly mesmerized by the natural beauty, the soothing sounds of nature, and the harmonious lifestyle of the villagers. They coexist peacefully with both domestic and wild animals, creating a life in harmony with nature, without causing harm to one another. When you observe this painting, you will witness the dedicated work of village women, toiling joyfully for their food, surrounded by dogs, cats, Hans (geese), rabbits, ducks, and trees... I created this artwork using soft pastels on sandpaper, and I fell in love with the simplicity of its outcome. This painting would make a wonderful addition to any home, especially in the kitchen or dining room. Consider purchasing it or getting a larger print to adorn your wall.

For over a decade, I have immersed myself in the art culture of Europe and currently reside in Budapest, Hungary. Although I was born and raised in Indian spirituality, my passion for sketching and drawing has always been immense, yet unfulfilled until later in life. Over time, I embraced my artistic journey as a self-taught slow learner and successfully obtained my Diploma in Graphic Design from the UK's Blackford Center. In 2015, I made the decision to become a full-time artist, following my heart's calling. I have a deep fondness for all pastel mediums, but as an artist, I also explore watercolor, acrylic, and charcoal, using them as tools to learn, grow, and enhance my creativity, enriching my life in the process.
