Ocean Waves, in turquoise, green and blue entitled ‘Vitality' is an original, framed, contemporary piece of fine artwork by the Award Winning Artist Janet Gammans. I first applied subtle tones and shades, then built up overlays of transparent colours creating the light effect against dark which gives the almost 3D effect. The artwork has been painted in a contemporary, semi abstract, slightly impressionistic style with vibrant tones from a fresh, cool palette of blue, green and turquoise tones. The large faced, modern, crafted 'St. Ives' frame is one of the highest quality, made from solid wood and professionally spray painted in soft white. This will suit practically all home interiors due to the neutral tone of this bespoke frame and so create a statement piece of art to highlight areas of your home. I work from my studio/gallery in South Cambridgeshire as a freelance artist and illustrator, supplying fine art to publishing companies worldwide, from galleries throughout the South of England and internationally via the web.
