ORIGINAL PAINTING There isn't any particular presentation to my art, I am getting allergic to presentation because I care about the content instead of the package. At this stage of my career or artistic life, I do not follow any narrative in particular, I find myself inspired by single episodes, single artworks, single thoughts. My body of work is made by single pieces that might fall in some category, but after all these are single stories. Each artwork tells a story that might not have any link with a previous artwork. It's a independent, autonomous thought. Establishing a common introduction is almost impossible. Making a statement reduce the possibility for an artist to express and explore at 360 degrees. Every written sentence can be changed, continuously reinterpreted. My artistic research is always free to develop within any direction. It's more like a book, or a movie. It tells right there and stays right there. What comes next is life: I never know. It's just a restless evolution. I use mixed media because that reflects the world I am living in: all differences are connected, creating a unique texture, the perfect wave." THE INFORMAL GRAFFITI PROJECT "Informal Graffiti is a tiny drawing on the blank surface of my artistic universe. My graffiti is informal because does not follow the media, the format, the scale or the intention of traditional graffiti art. Informal graffiti is an attempt to use intellectual and material fragments of the hyper consumption culture (credit cards , aluminum cans, old pieces of wood, dirty old paper, etc) in order to decontextualize the traditional relationship between the viewer and the message. I look at Arte Povera philosophy as cultural inspiration , because it is the only art movement that challenged the establishment in terms of art, politics, economy, culture. Arte Povera’s ideas boost my sense of engagement to the surrounding world, where art practice becomes the main way to rebel, to disagree, to criticize, to reimagine, to reinvent.
