About The Artwork
One of a series of paintings based on travels amongst fishing villages on the coast of West Africa, and observing the intimate relationship that people there have with the sea. The piece is mixed media on cement-board panel over a wood support, and includes a strip of reclaimed wood and a flattened tin "boat". The piece is hung with two screws.
