Visual Artist Born in 1989,Faiza Taufique is National awarded visual artist from Lahore, Pakistan. She graduated and also done her MFA from College of Art & Design Punjab University, Lahore 2013 with major in Painting. After Graduation her work has been exhibited in several group shows such as 16th National Exhibition from Artist Association Of Punjab, Many times at Alhamra art gallery at young artist exhibition,O Art Space, Studio Seven ,“Nairang Tri-Annual Young Artists Exhibition” at Nairang art gallery, “11th Emerging Talent Show” VM Art Gallery Karachi, “Konplen” at Nukta Studios Islamabad,“Kashmir will never die” at PNCA, “Art Influx” at Ejaz art gallery, “Guncha-e-Gull” at Nukta studios,” Lyallpur Art Fair” at Storia art studio Faisalabad, “Arjumand painting award” at Gallery 6 Islamabad, “Annamolka Award” at Annamolka Gallery, “Ocean art gallery” Art for Humanity at “O Art Space” Hamari pehchan at “Studio Seven” Karachi. Faiza is working in different mediums she is inspired by “Art Nouveau” The technique she is using are lines with water colors on paper through texture with lines work communicate with the viewers. She is interested in the beauty and complexity of the natural world especially it's pattern which are inspired from finger prints creating a sense of energy and movements, yet also maintaining a sense of balance with in her work. Faiza is also interested to paint Figures in oil and calligraphy is also seen in her compositions. She is working with different mediums.
