Walk as if You Own Your Story Painting

I’m an International Contemporary Abstract Artist currently living and working in Venice, California. My mission is to create unique artwork that offers a multitude levels of engagement. Aesthetics are vital as much as a story that each of my paintings tell. Each piece is a journey on its own. And it;s up to you how you wish to experience it. I've developed my own method of building up texture. It's there to guide viewers through the piece. Each painting is multilayered. Each layer of paint is applied either in a contemplative manner or dynamic and gestural depending on the energy I wish to convey. I move subsequent coats of paint across the canvas, scrap, reapply using non-traditional tools. I often utilize a traditional glazing techniques to produce depth. Each piece ‘matures’ on the walls of my house and moves back and forth between there and my studio until it resonates with intended energies. Each piece is a a reflection of my soul that is a mirror reflection of our collective experiences. As such as we are unique, we're also very similar. My paintings are intended to capture the archetypical essence of our universal experiences.
