About The Artwork

This is the first physical work from the "Ukrainian naive soul" series, which I started doing a couple of months before the start of a full-scale war. This series is about the dearest, brightest, and most beloved country in my life - Ukraine. In it, I combine my feelings, memories, elements of folk art, and everything that touches me when I think about my homeland. This artwork is about my childhood memories. I remember how I drank warm milk in my childhood at my grandmother's house in the village. I was also inspired by Ukrainian folk art. For example, the birds are motifs from the Poltava region's embroidery (where I come from).
