On one hand, this piece explores the fact we are not separated from Nature. We are part of it and the piece invites to respect it as we well as we can learn to respect and love ourselves. On the other hand, this piece explores the process of alignment, inspired by the practice of yoga, where our body is the temple of our soul and our connection between the mundane and the divine. It is a prier to Earth such as "Ho’Oponopono", which is an inspiring Hawaiian tradition of forgiveness and union... it means “I am sorry, please forgive me, thank you, I love you”. Therefore the green mountains are inspired by Hawaiian Islands. The viewer is invited to travel through the seas, lands (in the region of the heart) and mountains (representing our conscious, subconscious and spiritual mind) up to the sky. The leaves floating are quite myterious, they represent our cells, or ovum (symbole of fertility and creation), or spirits of our ancestors laying within us. For this piece I combined different technics to play with opacity and transparency, volumes and light such as glazing to bring delicacy to the leaves, and sfumato for the mist in the moutains to bring a wet feeling to the viewer. Both effect bring mystery in their own way, the mystery of the unknown. The idea of the shadow of the lady is inspired by Magritte's work. To make it, I posed myself in front of a window by night and watched the reflexion of my body on it.

"I believe in the healing beauty of Nature and Arts. » Cæsiliæ's oneiric paintings open a window to radiant realms. They depict luminous reflections, women and floating flowers on water displaying a visual dance of light and feelings… Her work appears in several private and public collections around the world and it has been featured several times in curated selections by international galleries and charity organizations dedicated to Women and the Environment. Cæsiliæ comes from her second name, Cecilia, which means blind, fortunate or secret in Latin. In addition, Saint Cecilia (230 AD) was the saint for poets and musicians. She is a French painter currently based in Berlin, Germany and specialized in painting with natural linseed oil. Each artwork is unique and signed at the front or at the back by the artist.
