I was born in the beautiful Canary Islands. I began to study piano at the age of six. And at this early age I also began to create poetry and painting. Once in College I decided to balance my knowledge and to study Science, earning a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of La Laguna, Canary Islands in 1980. In 1981 I worked in my own Pharmaceutical Laboratory in the Island of Lanzarote for several years. Inspired by the intense beauty of the volcanic island, I wrote more than five hundred poems during my time on the island. After my visit to the Studio of Painting and Sculpture of the great artist, Cesar Manrique and impressed by his works, I decided to move to Madrid, next to the Prado Museum, one of the biggest galleries of art in the world, where I could study the old masters as Goya, Velazquez, el Greco, Picasso, Dali, Sorolla and Murillo. I took classes with the great Spanish painter Miguel Arguello. I also studied in the Academy of Photography of Madrid, for two years of intensive studies of classic photography. In 1986 I did a photographic tour around Spain for a year. In 1991 I returns to the Canary Islands and opened a studio of Painting and Printmaking with my husband. In 1996 I created the Club of the Women Painters of Las Palmas, where I began to teach fine art. At the same time I did several exhibitions of her paintings In 1999 I moved to the United States, with the patronage of the Digital Art Gallery and worked with master artists in the field of Painting and Photography in the Digital Capture of Paintings for Conservation and Printing of Giclees Replicas of Fine Art. At the same time I prepared my new collection of the Floral Art. The provocative colors and traditional but intimate imagery struck an immediate ate response from the public. Since 2001 until now I have been featured in several exhibitions in Spain, Florida and New York. One can see something different in her Floral Art. Freshness and a subtlety but also an intense joy seem to emanate from her paintings. As I once said, my paintings are my personal way of sharing the more sublime beauty that I found in the world, which can only be perceived in short periods of special times, and recreate it as something permanent that contains the whole vibration of that moment. Somebody wrote: Her flowers are different: A whole seductive world of restrained passion.
