These are the colors of a quiet cosy winter day in my area, a walk through snow fields, misty trees and woods, little light, imagine to come home after a long walk in the quiet beauty of winter nature to a warm place.... winter is a time to calm down, to relax, to be less busy and to think about the future. I love these snowy winter days! Mixed Media on Paper, size 20x50x0,1cm shown in the mat (see photos), unframed sheet of paper 60x30x0,1 cm (see photos). Signed on the back with certificate of authenticity. If you want to have it signed on the front, please contact me. Ready to be put in 30x60 cm frame with signed and titled mat. Of course you can choose a different size for frame and mat and frame it much bigger! The painting comes as a sheet of paper with loose matte. If you need advice on framing or want it framed by me, please don´t hesitate to ask! (c) Gesa Reuter 2017

Germany
Based in Germany, Gesa Reuter’s artistic practice started in 1996. She has since studied the techniques of the old Dutch masters, layering selfmade gouache, egg tempera and sometimes oil to build her paintings with different layers of paint from thin to thick. Recently she has discovered the power of watercolours and ink in her work, enjoying the way the watery materials leave marks and traces to describe her inner feelings and emotions. Rather than painting an accurate visual representation of a landscape, she prefers to use the power of memory; her artworks are an expression of her feelings and emotions in the moment of experiencing the landscape." (Inside Artists, Issue 9, Summer 2017) So far, her works have been exhibited in Germany and Europe, mainly sold to private collectors in Germany, U.S.A., UK, NL, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, to architects, small companies, private medical and psychological practices. In public collection of Amateras Foundation, Bulgaria, NHS England and Kunsthaus Stove, Germany.
