About The Artwork
I am riveted by the ancient portrait fragment of a royal queen. I use this image often as a beautiful icon anchoring my paintings. In this painting I wanted to experiment more with constellations so that I was connecting her as some ancient image that could be in the sky with a constellation that we see in the heaven.
