This image was shot in Palm Springs, California. I couldn’t resist pulling over on the highway on this clear day with vibrant blue skies. If you’ve ever driven into Palm Springs, then you know the feeling of excitement that comes when you see the endless rows of windmills, indicating that you are almost at your destination! I was drawn to this sign, because it reminds me of my childhood when 55 miles per hour was the maximum speed limit everywhere. It’s as if this specific spot is timeless, existing in both the past and the present.
