A portrait of a priest fearlessly located beside the entrance of Abuna Yemata Church in the Tigray region of Ethiopia. At 2,5000 ft, Ethiopia's "church in the sky" is arguably the most inaccessible place of worship in the world, perched on the top of a vertical spire of rock, with sheer 650ft drops on all sides. The reach this extraordinary place, worshipers must scale a sheer 19ft high wall of rock without any climbing ropes or harnesses, inching along narrow ledges and crossing a rickety makeshift bridge. This print is unframed and a signed, authenticated limited edition of 1 of 50 with 5 artist proofs. Images are printed on Hahnemuhle PhotoRag 308gsm and sent in a tube.
