About The Artwork

In this captivating photograph captured as part of the 'Virgin Land' project, the vast expanse of untouched terrain in Algeria unfolds before our eyes. Nature, left undisturbed, has intricately shaped the landscape, transforming it into a canvas of raw beauty. Endless stretches of untouched land stretch far and wide, showcasing the untamed wilderness that flourishes in the unclaimed spaces. The rich tapestry of earthy hues and the interplay of light and shadow accentuate the untouched beauty of this virgin land. It is a poignant reminder of the immense, yet often overlooked, natural wonders that thrive when left undisturbed, inviting contemplation on the harmonious coexistence between nature and the vast, unclaimed spaces of Algeria.

Born in 1996, I’m an Algerian photographer, and a sociology licensed from the University of my hometown Relizane. I’m interested in the documentary aspects of photography, and aims to portray with my photographs the details of the relations between places, humans and their beliefs, characteristics, social status and causes and their relationship to spaces and how they shape it! I developed my visual language throughout my love for cinema at young age, capturing a mix of my background information with what I see and lives on daily basis inside different cities of my country, and I considers photography as a medium to give a peaceful fight to the injustice of the modern world and give a voice to the unheard important life causes… I received a couples of scholarships later on by respectable companies such as VII Photo, Nikon-Noor Academy, and screen arts school and worked with couple of media platforms such as ZAM Magazine and Truth in Photography, Hapax and did some contributions to upcoming curators for different exhibitions around the world...
