The Beige Project series explore the body as a tangible thing, stricltly reduced to the level of the physical, detached from depth of meaning. Surfaces are regarded as a continuity and orifices and folds as interrumptions of that continuity. The allusion of the body in its crude form is supported by an existentialist account of reality which places things as mere stuff as they only exist by merely being there. In this sense, things are too much themselves and thus, in their excessive form cannot longer signify.
