The Lake District, Yorkshire, England. Cairns - large piles of rocks - are used to navigate a safe path when the weather suddenly turns; visibility can be close to zero in a few minutes. As I lined up the shot, the dense fog parted for a couple of seconds, revealing the mountain in the distance. Taken on a Nikon FA; colour infrared film gives the shot the purple hue.
