Heaven's Leap, Silver Gelatin Print - Limited Edition of 5 Photograph

It was a gorgeous summer day when this image was taken. The sun was shinning, the air cool yet invigorating, and not a single soul in sight. The perfect kind of situation that allows for throwing caution to the wind and leaping through the air. It's rare for me to bring a 35mm camera to a serious photo shoot. I much prefer the larger formats like 120 in my Hasselblad or even 4x5 film. I was thankful that I had my old Minolta with me though as 35mm SLR's allow for quick exposures. The model must have jumped in the air over fifty times while I clicked away at the shutter running through several rolls of film. Most of the exposures were terrible as my finger wasn't fast enough to capture the perfect moment. However, repetition paid off in the end! Silver gelatin fiber based print made to archival standards. Original image is from an analogue negative printed in a traditional wet darkroom. All prints retain the original aspect ratio of the negative and printed on 16 x 20 heavy weight fiber based paper. Signed, numbered, and dated (when printed) on the back of the print.
