Holga Print Mangalarga Brazilian Beauty - Limited Edition of 2 Photograph

In 2015 I journeyed to Brazil. An in-law worked as an expat and was earning substantial income. She decided that she wanted to own a Brazilian indigenous horse, the Mangalarga. At the time I was very intrigued by the 'Toy Camera' photography trend. The plastic lens in each camera produced unique imagery. I approached the animal, she looked toward me and proceeded to hoof at the ground. I shot the picture. Later, I learned that this highly intelligent horse was indicating that she was ready to be ridden. This was a timeless moment captured with a most primitive camera. The result is captured beauty. This is an Epson printed artwork on 140lb watercolor cold press, signed in verso, edition of 2.
