This is a work from the series "Nature takes over". Photography from the remains of the battles of the First World War. I was intrigued by the recovery of nature, even though there are stille areas where, after more than a century nothing or very little can grow. I hope that the persistance of nature to regain it's beauty will inspire people and make them aware of the consequences of warfare.
