From the panoramic seascape series "Upon A Painted Ocean".

From the vastness of the ocean and sky and the smallness of the boat, a little red yacht, is sailing, we imagine, on a voyage of discovery and adventure.

In these strange times of the Covid-19 pandemic, when we might feel things are out of our control, and we no longer have the freedom we are used to, it felt that the time was right for me to release this small body of work on a series about escaping to a tranquil place.

These freedoms will return to us again eventually, post-pandemic, but this series of seascapes is a reminder that we should not take the way we live for granted; that things do change, sometimes abruptly and catastrophically.

We are all learning that we have to appreciate special moments where we can, and remember them for what they are: moments of joy, in an often chaotic world.

The limited edition photographic print is made using archival pigment inks and archival fine-art paper.
