As the sun dips below the horizon, casting a warm glow upon the wooden pier, the old pirate's story deepens. In this second installment, we embark on a new view, of the same location. Authenticity in every detail. No filters, no manipulation. But I did have to ask Moses to hold the waters back for a few mins… Regarding the style, I chose a naturalistic approach to my photography, with the intention of capturing the picturesque allure of the setting sun and the captivating textures of the weathered pier. By highlighting the vibrant colors and carefully manipulating the lighting, my aim was to craft a visually arresting image that captivates viewers and evokes an emotional response. The photograph will be printed using the highest quality giclee technique on Hahnemuhle Prag paper, under the supervision of a skilled master printer. It will be carefully packaged and sent in a tube for optimal protection. Additionally, if desired, I can also arrange for the photograph to be mounted with anti-reflective museum-grade glass for an enhanced display.
