Misty Cello (canvas) - Limited Edition Photograph

This is considered one of my most iconic shots and has influenced others. So I have finally been persuaded to do a limited edition canvas of it. The girl in the photo is UK singer Misty Woods she was a big fan of cult pop singer 'Eleanor Rigby' who was also my ex wife and she especially loved an Iconic nude poster I had done for her classic album 'Censorship' (Photo of this available for 1st time in my open photos) She then wanted a similar photo and quickly stripped off. Rather than do another tasteful nude I wanted to do something different and told Misty to wrap around my Cello (as I'm also a Cellist). The concept nearly didn't happened as the flash wouldn't work and it was late at night. Always one to improvise I decided the strip light in kitchen was the best lighting source and with the composition I wanted already in my mind I took half a dozen photos and instinctively knew this one was something special. This proved to be the case and many people fell in love with it. Misty was lead singer of Box Office Poison and the photo was used to promote the CD single 'Think for Yourself/ Lady Grinning Soul' The latter being a David Bowie composition which seemed to suit the tone of the photo. This is the first time this photo has been available aa 16 x 12 canvas (5 only) Signed with Certificate. It was taken on a film camera and not digital.
