'Permanent Wave' is a digital collage created from manipulated photographic elements. The subject matter features Hokusai's ubiquitous 'Great Wave' image encased in an orb, immersed in water. This arrest of the woodblock wave image is my small contribution to the world's love affair with the master Hokusai. Images of water and waves are a thread that runs through my work. This Giclée print is from a Limited Edition of only 6 prints. The museum-grade fine art print is titled, signed, dated, and numbered by hand according to the conventions of limited edition prints. The print is also shipped with a Certificate of Authenticity, which states that the work only exists as one of 6 prints, and has been printed with archival quality Ultrachrome pigment based K3 inks onto Innova Softex Fine Art Paper (315gsm). The print is shipped with a chalk-coloured matt. The size of the work, including matt is 31.5 x 38.5cm (12.5 x 15.25 inches).
